A few hours ago finished the first concert of Lara's new tour. All I can say is that it seemed to have been an amazing concert. It was possible to listen to some online reviews and information about it on the radio BEL RTL (although not much was detailed by them). They praised a lot the concert. The audio of these reviews can be downloaded on the link below.
According to fans who watched the concert, Lara was in shape and her voice was perfect.
Some special guests were present in the evening, such as Justine Henin, her trainer, Maurane, Lara's parents, Nathalie and others.
The decoration and ambiance of the concert was very theatrical and very colorful, specially to red and blue. And the visual scenes created by Gerard Pullicino were said to have been AMAZING! The musical direction was done by Manu Pitois.
There were 3 musicians in each side of the stage and Lara in the middle. The holograms were behind.
Lara started the concert with Mamy Blue, still in a room. The reaction for the song was very positive. She walks a way towards the stage (she wears a red outfit, pants and coat in some kind of leather). Then comes Soleil Soleil, followed by J'ai 12 Ans, where it was possible to see pictures of her mom.
Some other songs were (not exactly performed in this order): Gottingen, Amoureuse, a medley of her greatest french hits (notably Je T'aime, Immortelle, J'y crois encore, Tout), Humana, Alléluia, La Difference, Il venait d'avoir 18 ans (she changed her clothes before this one to a "white with some pink" outfit), a kids medley with songs for children (like Bouba, for example... fans said it was very funny), Babacar, Nuit Magique (it appears to have been a violin/voice version), Message Personnel, Theme from Mahogany, Bewitched Bothered and Bewildered, Wind Beneath My Wings, L'amour existe encore, Ça Casse, TLFM, L'hymne a L'amour and she finished with an encore with the song Adagio.
She told some funny stories on the stage and it was said to have been very theatrical, like En Toute Intimité, but more "full".
The songs Message Personnel and Ça Casse were performed in virtual duets with their original singers, and people said was very beautiful.
And after all of that, a bad news: no EWIM was available for sale! Nicoleroy, on the official forum, reported that altough they were not selling it, the cd was being played on the entrance and when they left the concert.

Há algumas horas atrás acabou o primeiro show da nova turnê da Lara. Tudo que posso dizer é que parece ter sido um concerto incrível. Foi possível escutar algumas críticas e informações sobre ele ao vivo pela rádio BEL RTL (embora eles não tenham detalhado muito). Eles elogiaram muito o concerto. O áudio disto pode ser baixado no link abaixo.
De acordo com fãs que assistiram ao show, Lara estava em forma e sua voz estava perfeita.
Alguns convidados especiais estavam presentes, como Justine Henin, seu treinador, Maurane, os pais da Lara, Nathalie e outros.
A decoração e a ambiência do show era muito teatral e colorida, especialmente em vermelho e azul. E as cenas visuais criadas por Gerard Pullicino parecem ter sido INCRÍVEIS! A direção musical ficou por conta de Manu Pitois.
Havia 3 músicas de cada lado do palco, e a Lara no meio. Os hologramas ficavam atrás.
Lara começou o show com Mamy Blue, ainda em uma sala. A reação para a música foi muito positiva. Ela anda por um caminho até o palco (ela usa uma roupa vermelha, calças e casaco de um tipo de couro). Então vem Soleil Soleil, seguda de J'ai 12 Ans, onde era possível ver fotos da mãe da Lara.
Algumas outras canções interpretadas (não exatamente nesta ordem): Gottingen, Amoureuse, um medley de seus maiores sucessos em francês (mais notadamente Je T'aime, Immortelle, J'y crois encore, Tout), Humana, Alléluia, La Difference, Il venait d'avoir 18 ans (ela trocou de roupas antes desta, para um vestuário "branco com um leve traço de rosa"), um medley infantil (com canções como Bouba, por exemplo... os fãs disseram que foi muito engraçado), Babacar, Nuit Magique (parece ter sido uma versão violino/voz), Message Personnel, Theme from Mahogany, Bewitched Bothered and Bewildered, Wind Beneath My Wings, L'amour existe encore, Ça Casse, TLFM, L'hymne a L'amour e ela finalizou com um bis, cantando a música Adagio.
Ela contou histórias engraçadas e foi dito ter sido muito teatral, como no En Toute Intimité, mas mais "cheio".
As canções Message Personnel e Ça Casse foram interpretadas em duetos virtuais com suas intérpretes originais, e as pessoas disseram que foi muito lindo.
E depois de tudo isso, uma notícia ruim: nada de EWIM à venda! Nicoleroy, no forum oficial, disse que, embora não estivesse à venda, o disco estava sendo tocado na entrada e na saída do show!

Today Lara gave an interview to Philippe Vandel on the radio France Info. She talked about Françoise Hardy and the importance of her in her life in a very difficult time, when she suffered a lot of pression and she even thought about giving up music (and maybe even her life). She also talked a bit about the Guignols videos, that some were funny but some were very harsh.
She talked about her relationship with Maurane, and that the story of Lara taking Maurane's backing vocals is false.
In the last part, the interviewer says some information they have about Lara for her to say if it's true or lie.
She confirms that with the first big salary she got for her work (when she was 24) she bought crystal glasses for wine, coz she loves wine, and that she still have them.
She says that when she was a teenager she tried to make a rebellion in her classroom because it was too cold in the room.
Next she says about the origin of her artistic name, which is an hommage to Fabiano, a family name.
She also says that when she was a child they used to call her "Ms. Why" because she used to ask a lot of things all the time.
She finishes by confirming that once Johnny Hallyday said in a press conference that "Lara is him, but female", and that she finds it a very good compliment, coz he probably talked about the hability of transmiting vulnerability, or maybe even her way of deliving so much passion in a performance.

Check out Lara's interview for the tv show Hep'taxi, where she was interviewed inside a cab. She talked about her childhood souvenirs in Italy, the development of her career, what people used to think and think about her, her songs, her boyfriends and the men who passed by her life. In the middle of the interview they stopped in a candy shop for some candies. Lara seemed to already know the owners and talked to them in italian. She bought something to go, and in the end she left them in the car as a gift to the interviewer. Back to the car she talked about the passion and relation between her and the fans, and then about her favorite songs. She said a lot of names of songs... sang some pieces acapella and we could see some clips of some songs. In the last part of the interview she talks about her experience in the US when she was recording. She talked about the people she worked with back then, such as Walter Affanasieff, Pat Leonard, etc. Then she talked about her audition with John Williams for the soundtrack of Artificial Intelligence. He made her audition in front of the Phillarmonic Orchestra of Boston. She said she had to read about 45 pages of musical notes to this audition and at that time she thanked so much her mom and dad who insisted for her to keep studying solfège when she was little. Another curiosity of this event: she says that, as a soprano she is, she started singing the song very high and John interrupted her and said "Ms Fabian, half tone down!" and that he saved her life with that. She smiled remembering his words after the orchestra stopped.... "We have our singer.... we have our singer!".

On the last September 13 some fans of Lara were able to meet her at a rehearsal/soundcheck of the upcoming tour, as a promotion of the magazine Ciné-Télé-Revue. She talked to the fans and sang some songs, such as "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered", "Gottingen" (they said she brought back the violins to the arrangement), "Mamy Blue", "Soleil Soleil" and others. Not many details of the tour were revealed to the public that day though. It's still a surprise! In an interview to Ciné-Telé-Revue website Lara said that she is taking care of a lot of stuff on the production, and it requires hours and hours of work. She passes the entire day working on it until 22 in the night. She tells a bit how the rehearsals are:
"I need to check every detail, all must be precise. There's an incredible machine to be activated to make everything enter the space we created. I first listen to the musicians play. Then, after reading my texts on the music, I tell them. Then I sing it, with pauses on the ones that have monologues. The concerts will be spectacles, with a history and a plot. Without forgetting that we're using a technology that was never used before on a stage. I'm very happy, even if it's a great challenge. I'll be on stage with five musicians and I'm gonna sing 22 songs... new ones and also the ones that made me exist."

Então, depois de ler meus textos na música, eu os digo. Então eu canto, com pausas nas que tem monólogos. O shows serão espetáculos, com uma história e um fio condutor. Sem esquecer que estamos usando uma tecnologia que nunca foi usada antes num palco. Estou muito feliz, mesmo que seja um grande desafio. Eu estarei no palco com 5 músicos e cantarei 22 canções... canções novas e também aquelas que me fizeram existir."

Lara gave an interview to Femmes d'Aujourd'hui this week. She talked about how the album was accepted by her fans, saying that it sold more than 150.000 copies, even in a tough time for promotion (summer). And that it's a miracle!
She also talked about the bad criticism the album received, saying that she didn't make it to people who doesn't like her, only to her fans.
She also said that her tour is still a secret, and that the way she represents "these women in her" are unique!

Lara deu uma entrevista ao Femmes d'Aujourdhui esta semana. Ela falou sobre como seu disco foi aceito pelos fãs, dizendo que ele vendeu mais de 150.000 cópias, mesmo num período dificil para divulgação (verão). E que isso é um milagre!

Lara recorded on the last September 15th her participation in the TV show "Nos Chanteurs Préférés". She did a playback of the TLFM song twice (She had some problems in the first time... synchronization problems! She started singing after her voice in the track). In the end of the song she received the golden record for her album. In the end she came back again to sing Tu Es Mon Autre with Michael Gregorio. Check out some photos above. A few hours ago finished the first concert of Lara's new tour. All I can say is that it seemed to have been an amazing concert. It was possible to listen to some online reviews and information about it on the radio BEL RTL (although not much was detailed by them). They praised a lot the concert. The audio of these reviews can be downloaded on the link below.
According to fans who watched the concert, Lara was in shape and her voice was perfect.
Some special guests were present in the evening, such as Justine Henin, her trainer, Maurane, Lara's parents, Nathalie and others.
The decoration and ambiance of the concert was very theatrical and very colorful, specially to red and blue. And the visual scenes created by Gerard Pullicino were said to have been AMAZING! The musical direction was done by Manu Pitois.
There were 3 musicians in each side of the stage and Lara in the middle. The holograms were behind.
Lara started the concert with Mamy Blue, still in a room. The reaction for the song was very positive. She walks a way towards the stage (she wears a red outfit, pants and coat in some kind of leather). Then comes Soleil Soleil, followed by J'ai 12 Ans, where it was possible to see pictures of her mom.
Some other songs were (not exactly performed in this order): Gottingen, Amoureuse, a medley of her greatest french hits (notably Je T'aime, Immortelle, J'y crois encore, Tout), Humana, Alléluia, La Difference, Il venait d'avoir 18 ans (she changed her clothes before this one to a "white with some pink" outfit), a kids medley with songs for children (like Bouba, for example... fans said it was very funny), Babacar, Nuit Magique (it appears to have been a violin/voice version), Message Personnel, Theme from Mahogany, Bewitched Bothered and Bewildered, Wind Beneath My Wings, L'amour existe encore, Ça Casse, TLFM, L'hymne a L'amour and she finished with an encore with the song Adagio.
She told some funny stories on the stage and it was said to have been very theatrical, like En Toute Intimité, but more "full".
The songs Message Personnel and Ça Casse were performed in virtual duets with their original singers, and people said was very beautiful.
And after all of that, a bad news: no EWIM was available for sale! Nicoleroy, on the official forum, reported that altough they were not selling it, the cd was being played on the entrance and when they left the concert.

Há algumas horas atrás acabou o primeiro show da nova turnê da Lara. Tudo que posso dizer é que parece ter sido um concerto incrível. Foi possível escutar algumas críticas e informações sobre ele ao vivo pela rádio BEL RTL (embora eles não tenham detalhado muito). Eles elogiaram muito o concerto. O áudio disto pode ser baixado no link abaixo.
De acordo com fãs que assistiram ao show, Lara estava em forma e sua voz estava perfeita.
Alguns convidados especiais estavam presentes, como Justine Henin, seu treinador, Maurane, os pais da Lara, Nathalie e outros.
A decoração e a ambiência do show era muito teatral e colorida, especialmente em vermelho e azul. E as cenas visuais criadas por Gerard Pullicino parecem ter sido INCRÍVEIS! A direção musical ficou por conta de Manu Pitois.
Havia 3 músicas de cada lado do palco, e a Lara no meio. Os hologramas ficavam atrás.
Lara começou o show com Mamy Blue, ainda em uma sala. A reação para a música foi muito positiva. Ela anda por um caminho até o palco (ela usa uma roupa vermelha, calças e casaco de um tipo de couro). Então vem Soleil Soleil, seguda de J'ai 12 Ans, onde era possível ver fotos da mãe da Lara.
Algumas outras canções interpretadas (não exatamente nesta ordem): Gottingen, Amoureuse, um medley de seus maiores sucessos em francês (mais notadamente Je T'aime, Immortelle, J'y crois encore, Tout), Humana, Alléluia, La Difference, Il venait d'avoir 18 ans (ela trocou de roupas antes desta, para um vestuário "branco com um leve traço de rosa"), um medley infantil (com canções como Bouba, por exemplo... os fãs disseram que foi muito engraçado), Babacar, Nuit Magique (parece ter sido uma versão violino/voz), Message Personnel, Theme from Mahogany, Bewitched Bothered and Bewildered, Wind Beneath My Wings, L'amour existe encore, Ça Casse, TLFM, L'hymne a L'amour e ela finalizou com um bis, cantando a música Adagio.
Ela contou histórias engraçadas e foi dito ter sido muito teatral, como no En Toute Intimité, mas mais "cheio".
As canções Message Personnel e Ça Casse foram interpretadas em duetos virtuais com suas intérpretes originais, e as pessoas disseram que foi muito lindo.
E depois de tudo isso, uma notícia ruim: nada de EWIM à venda! Nicoleroy, no forum oficial, disse que, embora não estivesse à venda, o disco estava sendo tocado na entrada e na saída do show!

Today Lara gave an interview to Philippe Vandel on the radio France Info. She talked about Françoise Hardy and the importance of her in her life in a very difficult time, when she suffered a lot of pression and she even thought about giving up music (and maybe even her life). She also talked a bit about the Guignols videos, that some were funny but some were very harsh.
She talked about her relationship with Maurane, and that the story of Lara taking Maurane's backing vocals is false.
In the last part, the interviewer says some information they have about Lara for her to say if it's true or lie.
She confirms that with the first big salary she got for her work (when she was 24) she bought crystal glasses for wine, coz she loves wine, and that she still have them.
She says that when she was a teenager she tried to make a rebellion in her classroom because it was too cold in the room.
Next she says about the origin of her artistic name, which is an hommage to Fabiano, a family name.
She also says that when she was a child they used to call her "Ms. Why" because she used to ask a lot of things all the time.
She finishes by confirming that once Johnny Hallyday said in a press conference that "Lara is him, but female", and that she finds it a very good compliment, coz he probably talked about the hability of transmiting vulnerability, or maybe even her way of deliving so much passion in a performance.

Check out Lara's interview for the tv show Hep'taxi, where she was interviewed inside a cab. She talked about her childhood souvenirs in Italy, the development of her career, what people used to think and think about her, her songs, her boyfriends and the men who passed by her life. In the middle of the interview they stopped in a candy shop for some candies. Lara seemed to already know the owners and talked to them in italian. She bought something to go, and in the end she left them in the car as a gift to the interviewer. Back to the car she talked about the passion and relation between her and the fans, and then about her favorite songs. She said a lot of names of songs... sang some pieces acapella and we could see some clips of some songs. In the last part of the interview she talks about her experience in the US when she was recording. She talked about the people she worked with back then, such as Walter Affanasieff, Pat Leonard, etc. Then she talked about her audition with John Williams for the soundtrack of Artificial Intelligence. He made her audition in front of the Phillarmonic Orchestra of Boston. She said she had to read about 45 pages of musical notes to this audition and at that time she thanked so much her mom and dad who insisted for her to keep studying solfège when she was little. Another curiosity of this event: she says that, as a soprano she is, she started singing the song very high and John interrupted her and said "Ms Fabian, half tone down!" and that he saved her life with that. She smiled remembering his words after the orchestra stopped.... "We have our singer.... we have our singer!".

On the last September 13 some fans of Lara were able to meet her at a rehearsal/soundcheck of the upcoming tour, as a promotion of the magazine Ciné-Télé-Revue. She talked to the fans and sang some songs, such as "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered", "Gottingen" (they said she brought back the violins to the arrangement), "Mamy Blue", "Soleil Soleil" and others. Not many details of the tour were revealed to the public that day though. It's still a surprise! In an interview to Ciné-Telé-Revue website Lara said that she is taking care of a lot of stuff on the production, and it requires hours and hours of work. She passes the entire day working on it until 22 in the night. She tells a bit how the rehearsals are:
"I need to check every detail, all must be precise. There's an incredible machine to be activated to make everything enter the space we created. I first listen to the musicians play. Then, after reading my texts on the music, I tell them. Then I sing it, with pauses on the ones that have monologues. The concerts will be spectacles, with a history and a plot. Without forgetting that we're using a technology that was never used before on a stage. I'm very happy, even if it's a great challenge. I'll be on stage with five musicians and I'm gonna sing 22 songs... new ones and also the ones that made me exist."

No último dia 13 de Setembro alguns fãs da Lara tiverem o privilégio de a encontrarem para o ensaio/passagem de som de sua futura turnê, como promoção da revista Ciné-Télé-Revue. "Preciso checar cada detalhe, tudo precisa ser preciso. Tem uma máquina incrível que precisa ser ativada para fazer tudo entrar neste mundo que nós criamos. Eu primeiro escuto os músicos tocarem. Então, depois de ler meus textos na música, eu os digo. Então eu canto, com pausas nas que tem monólogos. O shows serão espetáculos, com uma história e um fio condutor. Sem esquecer que estamos usando uma tecnologia que nunca foi usada antes num palco. Estou muito feliz, mesmo que seja um grande desafio. Eu estarei no palco com 5 músicos e cantarei 22 canções... canções novas e também aquelas que me fizeram existir."

Lara gave an interview to Femmes d'Aujourd'hui this week. She talked about how the album was accepted by her fans, saying that it sold more than 150.000 copies, even in a tough time for promotion (summer). And that it's a miracle!
She also talked about the bad criticism the album received, saying that she didn't make it to people who doesn't like her, only to her fans.
She also said that her tour is still a secret, and that the way she represents "these women in her" are unique!

Lara deu uma entrevista ao Femmes d'Aujourdhui esta semana. Ela falou sobre como seu disco foi aceito pelos fãs, dizendo que ele vendeu mais de 150.000 cópias, mesmo num período dificil para divulgação (verão). E que isso é um milagre!
Ela também falou sobre a crítica ruim que o disco recebeu, dizendo que não fez o disco para as pessoas que não gostam dela, e sim para seu fãs.

Lara recorded on the last September 15th her participation in the TV show "Nos Chanteurs Préférés". She did a playback of the TLFM song twice (She had some problems in the first time... synchronization problems! She started singing after her voice in the track). In the end of the song she received the golden record for her album. In the end she came back again to sing Tu Es Mon Autre with Michael Gregorio. Check out some photos above.
